The role of the blast tube in an oil boiler

The blast tube is the part of the boiler that directs the air to the burner where the fuel is ignited so it has a pretty important role.

Soot and debris can build up on it which can hinder airflow and reduce combustion efficiency. A dirty blast tube can put extra strain on the burner, potentially leading to overheating or failure to start.
