Time to Spring Clean your boiler!

Spring is in the air and we are enjoying lovely long evenings since the time changed. It is a time of year associated with cleaning and painting the house. Don't forget to add a boiler service to your list of spring cleaning. 

As you can see from the 'before' photos, when the boiler cover is removed, there is a build up of soot and ash inside the baffles. The brass jet in the centre of the burner is blocked and the flow of oil restricted. Running your heating system with a clogged-up boiler will lead to extra expense in the volume of oil used and the eventual extra cost of replacing parts.
